Preparation:
- Prepare rice noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Heat oil in a pan, fry garlic and optionally shrimp or tofu.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of tamarind paste with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar and a little water and add.
- Add the pasta to the pan and mix well.
- Garnish with lime juice, peanuts and scallions.
🍛 Tamarind chutney for Indian snacks
Preparation:
- Mix 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste with 100 ml of water, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin and 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder.
- Simmer in a pot for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Allow to cool and serve with samosas or pakoras.
