What is rice vinegar?
Rice vinegar is a traditional condiment in East Asian cuisine that is made by fermenting rice. 🥒 Asian cucumber salad with sesame and rice vinegar

Preparation:

  1. Cut the cucumbers into thin slices and sprinkle with a little salt. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix with 2 tablespoons PRB rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil and sesame seeds.
  3. Serve cold - perfect as a side dish to Asian dishes.

🍚 Season sushi rice

Preparation:

  1. Wash and cook 250 g sushi rice.
  2. Mix 3 tablespoons PRB rice vinegar with 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon salt.
  3. Fold the mixture into the still warm rice and let it cool.
  4. Ideal for maki, nigiri or sushi bowls.
