📖 More about the product

What are bay leaves?
Bay leaves come from the bay tree and are one of the oldest known spices in the world. When dried, they have a more intense flavor and are traditionally used in braised dishes, stocks and marinades. They give dishes a spicy, slightly bitter note with a hint of eucalyptus.

The NBH brand
NBH stands for high-quality spices from Asia. With its Xiang Ye laurel, NBH delivers a purely natural product in premium quality that no well-stocked kitchen should be without - whether for classic Italian ragouts or spicy Asian broths.

Use in the kitchen
Bay leaves are essential for depth of flavor and spice. They are ideal for seasoning meat dishes, vegetable stews, sauces, rice dishes or when pickling vegetables.
