The KIKKOMAN Ramen Shoyou soup base is the perfect basis for authentic Japanese ramen. The finely balanced mixture of fermented soy sauce, yeast extract, algae powder and spices ensures an intense umami taste. Ideal for preparing shoyu ramen or as a base for a variety of Asian soup dishes.

🍜 Shoyu ramen with egg and bamboo shoots
Preparation:
- Bring 250 ml water to the boil and stir in 30 ml KIKKOMAN Ramen Shoyou soup base.
- Cook ramen noodles separately.
- Pour the broth into a bowl, add noodles.
- Top with a halved boiled egg, bamboo shoots, spring onions and chashu.
- Garnish with sesame or nori if desired.
🥢 Miso shoyu ramen with tofu and bok choy
Preparation:
- Bring 300 ml water to the boil, add 30 ml soup base and 1 tbsp miso paste.
- Dice tofu and fry briefly.
- Blanch pak choy.
- Boil the ramen noodles and place in a bowl with the broth, tofu and bok choy.
- Refine with chili oil and sesame.
