The mild, nutty, protein-rich tofu leaves are soaked in warm water and are ideal for hot pots, soups, wok dishes or vegan wraps. Preparation:
- Soak tofu leaves in warm water for 10 minutes, cut into strips.
- Cook vegetables (e.g. pak choy, shiitake, carrots) in a hot broth.
- Add tofu leaves and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Refine with soy sauce and sesame oil and serve hot.
🥬 Asian tofu wraps with peanut sauce
Preparation:
- Soak the tofu leaves and carefully pull them apart.
- Prepare filling: e.g. E.g. glass noodles, carrot strips, cucumber, spring onions and coriander.
- Roll everything up in the leaves.
- For the sauce: Mix 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil and water until smooth.
- Serve wraps with sauce.
