Jjajang is a traditional black bean sauce from Korea, mostly used for the popular dish Jjajangmyeon is used – wheat noodles with a hearty black sauce, which is served with meat, onions and vegetables. It impresses with its spicy, slightly sweet and umami-intensive aroma.
